Advocacy in Care
About the campaign
Equipping employees to advocate for themselves and their loved ones in healthcare situations drives better care navigation. Team members who can self-advocate have better experiences, fewer care worries, and more focus during work hours. By arming employees to master care conversations, employers enable optimal health, care management, and performance in their workforce.

Advocating for yourself or loved ones in healthcare conversations can feel intimidating. Yet building key skills - asking questions, understanding rights, articulating needs - grants you greater control, yielding better outcomes. Wellthy, our caregiving concierge benefit, published this article that shares tips on how to be a healthcare advocate for yourself or a loved one.
As a reminder, you and your entire family have covered access to Wellthy as a benefit. When you open a Care Project their Care Coordinators will get to know your or a loved one’s care history, identify current needs, and act as a personal advocate in the healthcare system. Emails will be co-branded and content can be a general overview of Wellthy’s services, or focus on a specific caregiving topic of interest.
To execute a direct email to your employees, Wellthy needs your team to:
- Allowlist Wellthy’s IP addresses
- Approve email content and test
- Share a file containing eligible employees’ first name, last name, and email address
